PAINT YOUR OWN POTTERY

There is nothing quite like sitting down and creating your very own masterpiece - its relaxing, sociable and fun.

Choose from a wide range of bisque otherwise known as earthenware.  Our studio assistants will talk you through the painting process and offer tips and techniques to make your pottery painting the best it can be.

Your pottery is left with us to glaze and fire and takes about 10 working days to complete.

Collecting Your Pottery
You will get a phone call or email when your pottery is ready to be collected so please check voicemails and junk folders.
We will ask you to make an appointment to come and collect, if you have not made an appointment to collected there may be a substantial wait while we find your pottery.

Due to limited space in the studio we don't hold pottery for longer than 3 months.  If you have not told us when you will be coming to collect then pottery will be disposed of.

What happens if I don't finish my pottery painting?
If you need longer to paint then we have a couple of options, you can take your pottery away with you with all the colours that you need, or you can come back and paint on any weekday including a Friday evening.  We don't allow pottery to be finished off on a Saturday or Sunday.

So please make a booking with one of our studio assistants.

Glazing and firing your painted pottery.
We try our best to ensure that the creative journey you take with us is fun and enjoyable.  While we strive for perfection it doesn’t happen all the time particularly as these are hand produced crafts.  So please be aware that although we try to control for these events it is not always possible.  It can be the charm but also the frustration of working with ceramics.  Sometimes, if we feel it is safe to do so, we will re-fire the pottery to try to fix glazing issues.  In the exceptional event of your pottery breaking or cracking in the kiln we will offer compensation by way of a replacement voucher.
